English Class Test

Now-a-days we are given many class tests now and then. Though I hate these, we have to give those. We also had a english class test-the subject is Communicative Englsih. As such I like this class-the only class in which I don't feel sleepy(besides Maths).

We were given a comphrehension and based on it there was a question. We knew the pattern in advance and I was expecting a passage on the ways of communications and that it would be intersting to write the answer-filled with my views.

But the passage was about Infosys and its rise named "Narayan Murthy and Infosys". The tilte quite impressed me and I thought to learn much from this. The passage was about how is Infosys "different" from other companies-all about employee-mangament interaction and their views being counted. Then there was a question-"Do you think Infosys adopted a new method and do you think this accounted for the rapid progress of the company?"

Though my answer was yes, frankly I was not at all impressed with the passage about the growth of Infosys. I mean every company does so and every company. I don't think that Infosys was any different(what I concluded from the comprehension). But I do think that Infosys must have had adopted something new but am unaware of what it is! Right now, I am searching for the history of Infosys and try to see if I can fing something new!

We also had class tests of BET & Maths-both were fine. We also have tests of Chemistry- on Monday,Wednesday & Thursday-not at all prepared as this subject is the most boring subject!

Infosys did have a different mindset than other companies when they started. They believed more in the concept of sharing than any other company during those days and it wont be wrong to attribute their growth to those factors.

In case you aren't aware, Naryana Murthy have less than 10% of Infosys stocks in the current time. I am not sure about how much he 'heard and acted' on his people's opinion, but he definitely made everybody feel important and motivated.

yes Narayan Murthy made feel every body important ,that is from Dale Carnie, but he also worked very hard and his concept was very clear. He also got a very good team to work with.
Do not feel bore about a class. If you have your mindset in that way, intersting class will be boaring.Think positive. Mummy and Papa.

Just a word .. contrary to the way we speak in Hindi, in English, students 'take' the test and teachers 'give' the test to students.

Am not into IT so won't comment on the Infosys topic.

Yes, be positive about the subjects and consciously make efforts to create interest and soon you will be genuinly interested. Try and let me know if it works. All the best for the tests.

Well, I never said that Infosys had not adopted anything different but I meant to say that those things are adopted by most of the companies-I hadnt known that during that time Infosys was the only company to do these. Well,I was not totally aware of the percentage of stocks with Mr.Murthy.

Seema- I knew that but somehow wrote it wrong. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. Lots of things I come to know from the comments(mainly this post).

Mom and Papa- Nice that you commented.Yes, I do try to make the subjects intersting but somehow it dosen't work.
